Friday Nite Check In

 

Well..., the days should be getting longer now...,but the sun will be hiding behind that big clump of tall trees off to the southeast of us for a while yet.  And it never reaches the tops of those trees before it slides off even further to the south to come out from hiding for a few hours before sliding back behind more tall trees to the southwest.  This picture doesn't show what a pretty orange sunrise it would be if those trees were gone.  I guess it isn't really the sun's fault..., it is caused by the orbit and tilt of the earth..., or so they tell me.  I am not so sure I should believe anything anymore..., there is so much "fake news", propaganda, outright lies and confusion out there.

James Howard Kuntsler says in his Forecast 2026: In the Vortex of the Whirl

JHK is just as sure that forces supporting Joe Biden conspired to rig his election over Trump..., as Hilary Clinton was sure of the Russian conspiracy to defeat her in favor of Trump.  I say again..., I find it hard to believe anything anymore.  At least JHK isn't afraid to put his predictions for next year in writing..., and put a link to his previous forecasts.  This prediction seems to be a bit suspect to me though...,

"... Unlike just about everybody else in the forecasting business, I don’t believe the Democratic Party will be able to take back the House of Representatives or the US Senate in the 2026 midterms. They have left too wide a slime trail of corruption, avarice, lunacy, and treason."

Karl Denninger does JHK one better..., he actually scores his last year predictions before venturing out on 2025: The Year In Review, And Get Stuffed *..., and I think his prediction for the mid-terms is closer to what is going to transpire...,

"The GOP loses the House in 2026 despite the gerrymandering and may lose the Senate."

Other than that..., I believe the whatever it's cause..., the sun will start coming up sooner in the morning and further to the east and rising higher in the sky..., and dipping back the other direction mid-summer.  I will continue to clean up horse manure daily and compost it in The Garden daily..., feed and water Charley Horse and the dogs daily...,make weekly trips for groceries and mail..., and keep you all posted on those worldly adventures and add a little music video for your pleasure.

This one always seemed like a good New Year song..., though I would be hard pressed to explain just why...,
